'Tender Trap'

Sunshine, welcome back!

This is one of those soaps, that are meant to be more conditioning than cleansing. 44% of olive oil, along with cocoa butter and goats milk will provide us with the nourishment, our skin will need in upcoming winter. Despite of its gentle and pampering properties, this soap abounds with colours. They are on the pastel side, though. I just can't seem to make it  simple!

In the mould

Out of the mould- In the mould again

This soap is scented with 'Temptation'. The description says it is a seductive blend of apples, sweet fruits, exotic tropical florals and lush greens. It is really interesting blend, perfume like and I like it. I would say it's an unixes type of fragrances. I might have put it less fragrance than I would have liked it to smell, but the faint smell goes better with the oils composition.
You might ask me again how I came up with its name! Well, this is one of those cases, when it didn't come easily. The fragrance name is good enough to stand alone and it was guiding me through process making, but yet, I didn't want to name it after it. I needed a name to represent the soap gentleness along with its scent. It will trap you with its mazing colours and shroud you with its mildness. That's was kinda idea!

Natural light and shadows

These days, we've been enjoying repenting summer coming back. Or least, it looks so. It's unreal warm for this period of a year. I took many photos and I'm wondering how I will take my photos when the cold, dark winter days come. I really understand why bears take a long sleep during the winter.
I'm leaving you with some more pictures and wish you wonderful weekend!
Take care!

  1. I can´t believe Maja that you always make so beautiful soaps! These swirls are so lovely and I can´t decide if it is a spoon swirl or a dropplet swirl or something totally different.

    1. Ha,ha, you're so sweet, Marika! It was droplet, swirled with a skewer! Simply like that!
The funny thing is that I'd forgotten to add the black portion, and realize it after I made the swirl. So,I just poured it, without doing swirl. It's obvious that this one stayed untouched! Next soap will be layered, just for a change!

    1. Thanks Silvia! The design was not that complicated, so I could manage them. You should try, basically,if you can do 3, you can 6 (or 7).

  6. Love all your colours! They're wonderfully brilliant and so cheerful! I hadn't thought about it until Silvia mentioned it, but yeah, doing all those colours into one show takes some major talent.

The name is really cool too, I bet people are going to be eager to buy this soap to try and figure out why you named it Tender Trap.

I totally agree about the hibernation thing, I think the bears are smart to sleep for a few months. :)

    1. And you certainly do! I think everyone does! Thanks Ksenija for your lovely comment, I really appreciate it. Lately, I'm more inclined to bubbly suds, I guess I've had enough of creaminess of my milky/ diary soaps.
